Vouk Suites At Mansion One ★★★

Value for money, spacious suite, location is very strategic in the city center-Gurney Plaza.

Parking system, bad signage system between Vouk Hotel and the suites. Guests were required to park outside the building for check-in to obtain a parking pass, it was such an-inconvenience experience for those travelling with old parents (my parents are > 72 years old). They had to walk here and there because the instructions were not clear and the Nepali/Indian guards were not helpful at all. My breakfast experience was not good as well, the staff at the lobby informed us to go to to the 2nd floor, then the staff at the 2nd floor asked us to go down to the 1st floor and once we reached the 1st floor, the staff at the 1st floor told my parents that we had 15 minutes to enjoy our breakfast, it was 945 am and the breakfast supposed to end at 1030 am. Food selection in the 1st-floor was so limited, wonder why different treatment was given to some guests. I went to the 2nd floor, lodged a complaint then we were allowed to have our breakfast in the 2nd-floor restaurant. Thanks to the concerned- supervisor who allowed us to have our breakfast in the 2nd-floor restaurant. How miserable was that? Imagine my old parents had to go up and down like idiots, wanted to shout but had to cool down as my parents were around.

Bad service for house keeping . Called from 3pm till next day morning only clean my room due to air-corn leaking till whole floor wet n dirty.

Location, facilities & fairly pricing

Just a suggestion. The unit I stayed was without a grill compared to the other units. Kindly consider replacing the sofa to sofa-bed.

the room was big and have a private balcony, have a small kitchen to cook, bathroom water was big, room was cleam and have hair dryer, and the location was nearby many place, downstair have mini mart and starbucks

the toilet heater was big but not hot, and one of the air cond will drop the water, parking space was small

1) First time in my travel life that the housekeeping came after 5PM. There was a day that they did not come after 6PM. When complaint, I was informed that usually housekeeping will be done after 5PM if stay for 5 days. 2) The breakfast buffet at Vouk Hotel is so so but the breakfast set served by Hardwicke House is terrible. Firstly, the burger have odd smell, smell like already spoilt. Secondly, the watermelon have the onion smell and taste, seems like they did not wash the knife after cutting the onion before cut the fruits. 3) The direction sign at the Mansion one is not clear. Due to road in front of mansion one under construction, we have to turn in to hotel to enter to the mansion one. The Mansion one sign just write with a marker on the road barrier inside the hotel at a small lane. All cars entered and the guard have to inform the driver make u-turn. 4) There were 2 days that I am not able to find parking bay which have the Vouk Suite sticker, second day of my stay, I parked at the empty parking bay without the sticker and informed the reception, they took down my car plate number and told me that my car may clamped if owner complaint. Third day of my stay, I parked at the main entrance as I have confirmed that we can park there since I am not able to find parking again when I came back at night. The following morning, the reception called me and insist me to remove my car immediately. I overheard that the hotel owner and the Manager is unhappy and scolded the staff. Have their Management listen and care to the resident here? They should find way to resolve the parking issue. Due to this inconvenient, I have to come back early during day time to ensure I got the car park. So I have to go out with grab car at night. 5) The access card is useless. The access card is not working for enter and exit car park as well as the entrance to the suite from the car park.

The Price Is Affordable And A Good Location

One Of The Aircond Is Not Working at the Room no 2707.. check in was not smooth .. check out procedure is too late .. the coffee mix is not available since all over hotels is compulsory ..

Big balcony, very spacious room.

Kitchen very poorly equipped. Bed should be moved away from the present location to be nearer the balcony window with bedside tables with bedside lamps on each side. Present location of the bed has following disadvantages: 1) Too near the bathroom because going to the bathroom in the middle of the night would disturb the other person; 2) Hardly any room to get to the bed on one side; 3) No bedside lamps.

Water glass is not provided in the bathrooms, so weird! The housekeeping service is the worst i have experienced, the rooms are not cleaned properly. And i see garbage everywhere, even in front of the elevator! Main lobby smells very bad, it's like someone just got pee! Overall their cleanliness from 1-10, is 1! Thanks!

Reasonable location, halfway the old town and some of the big shopping malls. Next to the hospital. Public transportation is easy, once you've figured out where the buses are going. Basic cooking facilities, big fridge and washing machine make all for a pleasant medium-length stay.

No safe in the room and no reading light at the bed. Two points that are missing and could be easily added to the room to make it really complete. Number of TV channels is very minimal. An international news channel or two would be welcome.
